When you are arriving in Calgary from a far away land, it is obvious you are either coming for a job or you are coming for a vacation. In both the cases, you will definitely get interested about the local attractions. Banff national park

One of the most important local attractions is this national park. Though the park is about 144 kilometers away from the airport, but Calgary is the only door to get into this park. Banff is the oldest national park in Canada, and it is situated over the Rocky Mountains. After being established in 1885, this park has catered to welcome the tourists from all over the world for more than a century. The extensive collection of the flora and fauna in huge variety is indeed the most impressive part of Banff.

Initially reaching the place was quite tough, but nowadays with railway connection, reaching and staying in this place has become easy and comfortable. In the southeast section of the town you will find many attractions like, Inglewood, Scotiabank Saddledome, International Avenue, Max Bell Centre, Sikome Lake and such places.
